Lisa Hodits New Jr. High Principal

A familiar face already to parents in Monroe, Mrs. Lisa Hodits has eagerly accepted the position of Principal at the Jr. High School.
“Although I enjoyed my work in curriculum, I have always felt that I could have the most impact on students by being a principal,” said Hodits.
Before being hired as a Curriculum Director at Monroe, Mrs. Hodits was a Language Arts teacher at Ross High School. She later held the District Media Coordinator and Technology Trainer positions at Ross.
Mrs. Hodits has a strong background in integrating technology into the classroom, and is an adjunct instructor at both Wright State and Ashland Universities.
She is also an advocate of teacher teaming to better meet the individual needs of students.
Mrs. Hodits has two children in the district.
