The residents of Mount Pleasant Retirement Village will host a Fall Carnival and it will be open to the public. The carnival will have many fun booths for young and old alike.

The Fall Carnival will be held on Friday, October 5th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in front of the main building located at 225 Britton Lane. Booths will include face-painting, fall flowers, scarecrow crafts, a hugging & Hershey kiss booth and more. The Eden Steering Committe at Mount Pleasant has planned this event and the proceeds will be used to enhance the lives of the residents at Mount Pleasant. Ed Stinson, Director of Education for Mount Pleasant Retirement Village said, "Our goal is to invite the children from Children's Village and have as many residents on the campus participate. Of course, it is open to the public. The carnival booths are designed and implemented by the staff and residents who lvie and work in a specific neighborhood".
