This Christmas, Catnip & Carrots Animal Bunch of Monroe is urging residents to remember the animals, as well as your neighbors, who have been adversely affected by economic hardship.
With rising unemployment, home foreclosures and the downward economy, local food pantries are struggling to meet the growing demands of hungry families. As a result, our animal shelter and rescues are dealing with an influx of abandoned pets because their owners can no longer afford to keep them.
To assist during this crisis, C&C is sponsoring a Food Drive from November 27th - December 11th and requesting donations of non-perishable human and pet foods plus personal care items. Proceeds will benefit the Shared Harvet Food Bank. Help us give a bountiful feast to local families and keep Fluffy and Fido at home for the holidays.
