Do you have fond memories of “the Lake” (1923-2006) or was your first job at LeSourdsville (later known as Americana)? Then you’ll want to join us on Saturday, July 16, from 10am-2pm as we welcome Scott Fowler, author of the new book: LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park. Scott is also the cofounder of the SW Ohio Amusement Park Historical Society & will have lots to share with visitors as he autographs copies of “LeSourdsville”. Books will be available for purchase. Both Museums will also be open, admission is FREE. 10 E. Elm St., Monroe.
On July 4th, as Monroe gears up for another Light Up the Sky festival & hometown parade, the Historical Society will have the museums on E. Elm Street open from 3pm-5pm as the parade marches in and the pioneer log cabin in the park will be open from 5pm-7pm during the festival. We hope you will stop by and see us!
