The Egg Hunt will start at 1\:00 pm and will have three egg hunting areas based on age. There will be plastic eggs stuffed with candy and prize eggs with a coupon to be redeemed for cash. For safety concerns we do not allow parking in the large main lot\, so be ready to park up at the Monroe Swim Club parking lot or in the parking lot on the southwest side of the main concession building. Both are members of the Monroe High School Band. Performances will start at 7\:00 P.M. in the Libradry (behind Green Tree Academy\, next to the School Board Offices) and dessert & coffee will be served afterwards. Jana Morse of Middletown presented the program FRAGRANT PLANTS\, focusing on the Lemon scented plants. Lemon Balm is the herb of the year 2007\, easily grown and many\, many uses. It can be used in cooking\, teas\, infusions\, and for medicinal purposes. Recipes were given for Lemon Balm Cordial\, Pesto and Pesto Shells. Other widely known lemon herbs are Lemon Verbena \, Scented Pelargoniums\,Lemon Grass\, Lemon Thyme and Lemon Myrtle. These can be used in a variety of ways from cleaning solutions to cooking.
