The Monroe Local Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Office. The purpose of this meeting is to vote on a Resolution of Necessity for an Operating Levy and a Resolution creating a community reinvestment area of Real Property.

If so, The Monroe Area Community Foundation will be selling raffle tickets at our first annual Christmas on the Plaza celebration on December 8, 2007, for a chance to win a visit from Santa Claus. The tickets will be sold at the MACF booth, two chances for $1.

Mount Pleasant Retirement Village will host an Open House on two days in December. The Open House is to show all the options available at Mount Pleasant.
