The next session for Mommy and Me Make Music will begin March 3rd. Free trial classes are available in February. Classes are taught in Monroe, Ohio. These classes are for children ranging in age from 4 months to 4 years. All classes use music to encourage social, cognitive, physical and developmental skills. Music and More classes are also available for children ages 18 months to 3 years. These use music, crafts, activities and stories to support educational themes. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 is the Monroe Local School Band Annual Fund Raiser and will be held in the Monroe Local Schools high school cafeteria. During the dinner, all the school band will hold a concert in the auditorium. The concert itself is free.

The dinner is sponsored by the Monroe Band Boosters and the proceeds go to the boosters to support each child’s band activities. The dinner will begin at 5:00 PM and serving will end at 7:00 PM. The meal consists of pasta, sauce & breadsticks from Olive Garden, with salad, drink and dessert. Prices are as follows: $7.00 for grades 7 and up. $6.00 for grades 6 and younger and Senior citizens, children under 2 years of age eat FREE.
