Saturday, April 11, the Monroe Lions Club will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Monroe Community Park. The Egg Hunt will start at 1:00 pm and will have three egg hunting areas based on age. There will be plastic eggs stuffed with candy and prize eggs with a coupon to be redeemed for cash. For safety concerns no parking is allowed in the large main lot, so be ready to park up at the Monroe Swim Club parking lot or in the parking lot on the southwest side of the main concession building. As in years past, the egg hunt will be held rain or shine, so don't let a little weather keep you and your egg hunters from coming out for some good fun.
