In response to a wide variety of community needs\, the Monroe Area Community Foundation bestows quarterly grants to organizations or clubs in the Monroe area in order  \;to maintain or advance its quality of life. \; Grants are only awarded \; to groups with  \;501 (c) 3 tax exempt status. \;They are not made to individuals for personal use. \; \;The size and number of grants conferred per quarter are directly related to the amount of money available each year from investments and from the restrictions donors have placed on certain funds. \;

The MACF is now accepting \; third quarter grant requests\, which are due by September 15\, 2009. \; \;The fourth quarter deadline is December 15\, 2009. \; Questions concerning \; procedure or eligibility can be answered by Gloria Miltenberger at 513-633-7672. \; Submissions should be made to the Monroe Area Community Foundation\, Distribution Committee\, P.O.
