Sterling Named Administrator for Mount Pleasant Retirement Village

Monroe - Veronica Sterling has been named Administrator for Mount Pleasant Retirement Village, located at 225 Britton Lane. She began this leadership position Jan. 5. Mount Pleasant is one of 11 retirement communities owned and operated by Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS).

"We welcome Veronica in this important leadership role - she is a wonderful addition to the Mount Pleasant family," said Mount Pleasant Executive Director Stan Kappers. "Veronica is a talented, enthusiastic leader with a proven record of strong clinical and financial performance in the communities in which she has previously served."

Sterling comes to Mount Pleasant from Cottingham Retirement Community in Sharonville, and prior to this, the Legacy Court at Evergreen Retirement Community -- part of the Wellspring Health Center in northern Cincinnati.

Sterling lives in West Chester with her husband Kyle. She graduated from Bowling Green State University, has been a licensed administrator since 2005.

Sterling is a certified Eden Alternative Associate. The Eden Alternative is a philosophy that advocates humanizing the skilled nursing environment, creating meaningful and purposeful living by offering variety and companionship for the people being served. Mount Pleasant is a registered Eden Alternative community.
