Ruby Williams, a Hawthorn Glen assisted living resident, celebrates her 100th birthday. Ruby is blessed with 99 grandchildren (with grandchild 100 due in May!). When asked which grandchild is her favorite, she says “I love them all.” When asked if her 100 years went by fast Ruby says “sure they did, they flew by.” Her secret to living a long and happy life—“I enjoy and love everyone. I’m boss number one!” How did she cope with a lifetime of challenges in her 100 years--“the Lord said He would never put on us more than we can handle and He sure was right!”
