The Monroe Historical Society held its annual dinner and program on December 13, 2009 at the Mt Pleasant Activity Building. A wonderful dinner was catered by Grecian Delight and Mr. Jim Price presented a very informative program on the history of the 1910 Museum building located at the corner of Main & Elm St.
Susan Bake of West Chester was announced as the winner of the quilt raffle. She is the daughter of Clarence & Tillie Adams of Monroe. A general meeting was also held that included the election of officers to the Board of Directors. The following members were elected:

The Society has a new website: www.monroeoh-historicalsociety.org. 2010 membership applications are now available online and we are happy to announce that dues remain unchanged at $10 per person/ $25 family. Corporate memberships are also available.
