MONROE, Ohio - February 19, 2008 (PV & Associates) Gravity Church swings its doors wide open to Monroe residence and surrounding areas. Gravity Church has been established to offer a church "not as usual" to the Monroe area community. Pastor Geoff Prows along with his leadership team and a dedicated group of area church planters have worked diligently to create a casual and contemporary atmosphere. Pastor Geoff is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Seminary and is married with one young son. Worship leader Brock Heitkamp is an accomplished musician from the band PriceHill which just released its first CD. Marty Daniels, renowned Christian comedian, will perform Sunday March 16th at 10:45 to kick off the church launch week. The launch festivities will end with the launch service Sunday March 23rd at 10:45am with Pastor Geoff Prows asking the question, “Are You Still Looking For Your Soul Mate?” Marty Daniels has spent 15 years working as a popular radio personality in mainstream and Christian radio. He helped build one of the nations most innovative Christian radio stations in his home town of Columbus, Ohio and currently hosts “Humble O Radio” online weeknights at 10:00pm EST. He has worked with and performed for a multitude of corporations including Kellogg’s, Wendy’s International, Nationwide Insurance, SBC, DirecTV and churches from all denominations. Church choice used to be simple. Baptist was Baptist, Catholic was Catholic, and Methodist was Methodist. Finding a mate used to be that simple, too. Neither is that simple today.
