Learn Bicycle Safety at Free Kids Bike Rodeo


The Monroe Police Department will conduct several free bike rodeos throughout the area to help educate the community about bicycle safety. Officer Kahny will discuss ways to stay safe while riding, and participants will have an opportunity to try out their skills on a mini obstacle course.

Bike Rodeos will be held in the following locations: 

July 25th

Rochester Hills
(front entrance) 9am-10am

Monroe Crossings
(Shanda Dr.) 1pm-2pm

July 1st

Bridle Creek
(Bobtail Way) 9am-10am

Kid's Bike Rodeo

The bike rodeo is a free event geared to increase awareness in the community about bicycle safety. The rodeo will include bicycle safety tips from Officer Kahny and have a mini bike obstacle course. For more information contact Officer Kahny at the Monroe Police Department at 539-9234. The rodeo will take place from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
