David Morgan and His Amazing Flying Machine

David Morgan has been doing a bit more than "tinkering" in his garage. David has been working on a fully-functional small aircraft in his spare time. He has already completed both wings (shown below in process), and is currently working on the lower part of the cockpit area (shown above).

The RV-12 plane is considered a "light sport aircraft." The finished plane will be a two-seater with a 100 hp engine and a range of about 500 miles with its 20 gallon fuel tank. It is capable of speeds over 130 mph. The plane also has removable wings so that it can be transported by trailer and has an empty weight of 740 pounds.
