The Monroe Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Hornet Day on Sunday, August 23rd. Time is from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the school. This is a great time for Hornet Fans, young athletes and community members to meet the 2009 / 2010 student-athletes and athletic staff. Highlights for the kids include youth minicamps by the coaches and teams, photos with your favorite athletes, and locker decorating. All FREE of charge.

The 2nd Annual Monroe Athletic Booster Club Golf outing is scheduled for a 1:30 Shotgun start on Sunday, August 9th at Weatherwax golf course. This annual event is the fundraiser for the MABC student/athlete scholarship fund. Because of the success of last year's event, the Monroe Athletic Booster Club was able to present four $500 scholarships during Senior Awards Night. This years recipients were: Taylor Brooks, Maggie Hinkle, Josh Hofer and J.C. Kellis.
Please make plans to join us at Weatherwax Golf Course for this year's event. The price has been reduced to $75 per person which includes golf, cart, driving range, cook-out and door prizes.
