La Comedia dinner theater has started its 2012 season with “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline”. Patsy Cline is one of the classis and most famous country music stars of all time. Ever dream about dancing in the moonlight? Take a trip down memory lane in a recreation of Moonlite Gardens’ ambiance and mood at Otterbein Lebanon Senior Lifestyle Community, featuring twinkling lights, fabulous music by the Pete Wagner Band and dancing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, in the multi-purpose room in the campus center. Hats and Gloves for Needy Kids

The Police Department and LCNB National Bank is working with Monroe Local Schools to get hats and groves to needy children before this winter weather hits. The school has identified 76 kids who are in need of winter hats and gloves. All donations will stay here in the community. Monroe Civil War Days - October 22-23

Mark your calendars for the big weekend - October 22 & October 23 at the Monroe Community Park on S. Main St. Event hours are 9am - 9pm Saturday and 9am - 3pm Sunday.

There will be parking on site and shuttles from the IGA & old High School lots, running every 15-20 minutes from 11am - 6pm on Saturday & 11am - 4pm on Sunday.
