Monroe Athletic Hall of Fame Seeking Nominations

submitted by Bob Miller

The Monroe Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations from alumni and Hornet fans.  Monroe High School has produced many outstanding athletes over the years and we need to recognize these individuals for their athletic accomplishments throughout their high school careers.

The HOF Standing Committee knows that many grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews or friends deserve to be nominated for consideration to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.  You must start the process by completing a nomination form with your particular athlete's name, senior class picture and attaching photocopies of newspaper articles stating their accomplishments.  This can be done by looking through scrapbooks, yearbooks or by going to the library to obtain these articles.  Deadline for the Class of 2009 nominations is August 31, 2009.
